Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition (PIRC) Re-Launches Emergency Assistance Hotline

Portland, OR.- Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition has re-launched its immigration emergency assistance Hotline. Community members can call the hotline if they or a family member has been detained by immigration authorities or if they witness a raid in their communities. 

Callers will have their calls answered  by bilingual (English-Spanish) trained staff and volunteers who are equipped to: 

• Find the services of an immigration attorney
• In some circumstances, mobilize the community if someone in your family is detained by immigration authorities
• Get a trusted companion for court dates and other resources
